Python for FPGA
If you ever wanted to start with FPGA but VHDA or Verilog was not your cup now you can try with Python. Python Hardware Processor written in Myhdl is 'a Hardware Processer written in Myhdl which executes very simple python code' which basically allows to run simple Python programs on FPGA. Additionally all can be compiled to HDL and used to program FPGA.

H-Brigde – Do It Yourself
…if you must to! H-Brigdes are quite basic piece of hardware, steering them is where fun begins. For all those of you who prefer easy solution that just work please look into L293 or L298 which can drive two motors with current up to 1A or 2.5A per motor.
